Morocco Hiking Holidays 3 days

Program: Morocco Hiking Holidays (3 Days)

Day 1: Marrakech – Asni – Imi N’Oughlad – Tacht Pass – Tahliouine

We depart from Marrakech at 9:00 AM for a drive to the village of Imi N’Oughlad, where we meet our team of local muleteers. After preparing our gear and loading the mules, we begin our trek by hiking through the village and ascending to the Tacht Pass (1,900m). We stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. Later, we descend towards the village of Tahliouine, where a local Berber family welcomes us for the evening.
Drive duration: 1h30 | Walking time: 4 hours. Overnight stay in a local homestay.

Day 2: Tahliouine – Matate Pass – Aguersioual Pass – Imnane Valley

We ascend towards the Matate Pass (2,100m) through a scenic juniper forest, enjoying panoramic views over the colorful Azzaden Valley and surrounding peaks—a historic area for transhumance. Descending into the Matate Valley, we pass through charming traditional villages before ascending again to the Aguersioual Pass. Our trek ends in the village of Tinghrine, in the heart of the Imnane Valley.
Walking time: 6.5 hours | Ascent: 800m | Descent: 700m. Overnight stay in a local guesthouse.

Day 3: Tinghrine – Tamaterte Pass (2200m) – Imlil – Marrakech

We bid farewell to the beautiful Imnane Valley and follow a scenic trail with panoramic views of the valley floor. We then reach the Tamaterte Pass (2,200m), which opens up to breathtaking views of the Ait Mizane Valley. We descend towards the village of Imlil (1,750m) for lunch before taking our transfer back to Marrakech.
