6-day Siroua trek − Trekking and Hiking in Siroua massif Morocco
6-day Siroua trek : The Djbel Siroua is a rich and interesting place to visit. The inhabitants of the Siroua massive are known for weaving and handmade Berber carpets. Dejbel Siroua alternates landscapes of volcanic rocks. Walking in Siroua is a wonderful hiking that combines vast arid plateaus and lush oases , green pastures and black basalt , hospitality of the Berber mountain.
Itinerary of 6-day Djebel Siroua trek
Day 1 : Marrakesh − Tichka pass − Tamlakout − Tamazirt
Transfer from Marrakesh towards Tichka pass. Lunch in Tamlakout the village, small oasis in the heart of the valley . After meeting with the mule team. 2h walking to Tamazirte village. Night in tents . 5 hours drive.
Day 2: Tamazirt − Ait Tigga − Ait Ighmour valley − Maous tray
crossing a hilly plateau and cultivated barley and wheat to the village of Ait Tizouad. Lunch at the exit of the village. Climb to the Ait Ighmour valley. continuation to our camp at Maous tray. 5:30 walking
Day 3 : Maous tray − Siroua summit ( 3305m ) − N’tzgui
The climb to the Siroua summit ( 3305m ) without difficulty . Our cook makes us the lunch. A beautiful and spectacular view on the chain of Toubkal, the Saghro and Jebel Bani . Then the descent to camp near the river. Night in tents. 6h30 walking.
Day 4: Aazib N’Tizgui − Tagouyamt Valley
Descend to the beautiful village of Tizgui . The opportunity to visit the collective attic in the middle of the cliff. Descent the Tagouyamt valley, town surrounded by many terraced gardens which dominates every where saffron cultivation. Night in tentes. 5h walkking.
Day 5: Tagouyamt − Isslit − Ihoukarn − Ifran
We cross a long plateau which leads to the beautiful villages in the heart of the valley Tislit . Lunch near the Ihoukarn village . Meeting with the Berber population before the end our trek. Night in the Ifrene village. 5h30 walking.
Day 6 : Ifrane − Pass-Test − Asni − Marrakesh
After breakfast quiet and greetings from our mule team. Transfer towards cervical test (2100), then down to the small town of Asni for lunch, continuation to Marrakesh
